Locating underground utility lines is critical to any construction and development project. Accurate mapping of line locations will prevent utility breakage, unsafe conditions, and delays in the development of works. WATER LEAK LOCATORS
Leakage from pressure pipes and water distribution system creates a characteristic high frequency noise at the point of leak. This sound propagates along the pipe and can be detected by acoustic sensors put in contact with the pipe. Acoustic leak surveys are well established and is the proven best procedure for effective location of leaks.
The cost of a leak inspection should be justified by economic factors: the value of water, the cost of pumping the water ( in terms of energy and economic resources) the damages to building and infrastructeres determined by the leaks, the social benefits and the availability of drinking water.
Prior to the implementation of any leak detection program it is essential to assess and quantify the losses and to focus the resources on the branches of the network where substantial reductions in leakage may be realistically achieved by repaired works. The precise locating of the leak position requires a combination of modern technologies and high operator’s skills.

FLOW AND PRESSURE MEASUREMENT
Datalogging Ultrasonic flow metering is a non invasive technique of flow meaurement. With applications in many industries including chemical process, district heating, it has specific value in water distribution by providing a low cost non-permanent technique of flow analysis to estimate the level of loss.
Detailed knowledge of the pressures throughout the network is essential for the maintenance levels of service and for networks modelling. Pressure logger represents an important instrument to verify system performance.
